It's also an option to search on Daft.ie or Facebook groups. It's possible to find more afordable rentals and also options in other counties.
I-RES is also likely to accept pets on their accommodations and they also have loads of locations in Dublin; check their website here. For short/mid term stays Hosting Power and Airbnb are also likely to have pet friendly rooms available.
As pets bring mental health and even better social life for their owners, it's clear that the renting situation for pet owners HAS to change. We need more reasonable landlords and a law that prevents discrimination against pet owners.
Owners are responsible for their pet's acts, and no one is saying the opposite, and that's why there are deposits when you rent a house. Pet owners just need options because I've seen people giving up their pets because of not finding a home to live with them. This is something that happens in Ireland that doesn't happen in many other countries.
We also would like to mention that Pet Friendly Dublin doesn't have anything to do with the apartments on the list, this is not an advertisement, and it's not an appreciation blog. This is just a list to help people who are desperate to find a home to live with their pets. We genuinely hope this helps many people.
